The Lannom Center in Dyersburg, TN was host to the 2015 Business Expo on Thursday, May 14th. The event is an annual event organized by the Dyersburg / Dyer County Chamber of Commerce and draws businesses from the Northwest Tennessee region and beyond. According to Hannah Caylor, Membership Director for The Chamber, there were 60 vendors at this year's event with many businesses left on a waiting list to exhibit. The event was also very well attended by the general public and business owners throughout the region.
Starting at 5:30 pm Chamber staff members Dakota Simpson and Caylor began announcing winners of the first of many drawings for cash and prizes donated by local businesses. Chris Donaldson, of Tencom Services, was proud the participate in this year's giveaway with a tie-in to the "Is Your Website Mobile-Friendly?" promotion currently underway at Tencom. Mendy Carnell, of Russom's CarStar in Dyersburg, was the lucky winner of the Apple iPad Mini donated by Tencom. Chris Donaldson pointed out that Tencom has been designing mobile-friendly and responsive websites for several years and the iPad giveaway was the perfect way to illustrate that Tencom builds websites that look great on all types of devices.
